Cancellation Policy
Amanda Meyer Photography & Arts – Session Agreement Photography is storytelling through light, texture, and connection. Each session is a collaboration—an invitation to slow down, notice, and create something honest together. By booking with Amanda Meyer Photography & Arts, clients are inviting a creative partnership that captures their story in a way that feels genuine, warm, and enduring. A non-refundable retainer is required to reserve the session date; no date is held without payment. The remaining balance is due by the session date. All payments are non-transferable and non-refundable, including cancellations or no-shows. A minimum of 24-hour notice is required to reschedule once within 60 days. Cancellations made with less than 48-hour notice are non-refundable. Same-day cancellations or no-shows forfeit the full session fee. Please arrive on time. Late arrivals may shorten session time; arrivals more than 15 minutes late may be considered a cancellation. If Amanda Meyer Photography & Arts must cancel due to illness, emergency, or unsafe conditions, clients may reschedule or receive a full refund. Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled due to unsafe or unsuitable weather at no charge. Weather decisions are made at the photographer’s discretion to ensure safety and image quality. Standard turnaround time for image delivery is 2–4 weeks (up to 6 weeks for events). Sneak peeks are optional. Rush delivery may be available for an additional fee. Files are archived for 6 months after delivery. All images are protected by Canadian copyright law and remain the property of Amanda Meyer Photography & Arts. Clients receive a personal-use license to print and share images but may not sell, alter, or use them commercially. RAW files are never released. Editing is true-to-tone with minimal retouching that keeps photos honest and warm. Each selected image is delivered in both colour and black and white. No alternate editing styles are offered unless discussed and agreed upon prior to the session. Clients are encouraged to share their vision or preferences before the session to help guide the creative process. The photographer is not responsible for missed shots due to lateness, refusal to participate, or uncooperative behavior. Liability is limited to the total amount paid.
